Dear Friends,

Today, I am thrilled to announce that Qysh Me has been acquired by Dua, a network that aims to connect Albanians around the globe. We believe in Dua’s mission and its leadership that will provide amazing opportunities for Albanians to make important connections in all ranges of their lives, whether that means making new friends, seeking a serious relationship, or expanding your professional network or learning new things.

If you are going to ask “What does this mean for our daily readers?” it is basically on a day-to-day, it’s business as usual only now Qysh Me under Dua have new resources and capabilities to continue driving more value and fresh content for all of our readers.

Our story shortly …

Korab Osmanaj and I started this journey back in 2011 while working together in odd shifts starting from 04 AM. I remember clearly that our lunch breaks would be around 8 AM and during those breaks we would brainstorm and come up with unusual ideas all the time. Along the way, we also were trying to solve a big problem for us personally, how to stop phone calls from relatives that would ask as questions like “how to fix this ____ issue?” ( Qysh Me … ) and wake us up at 6 PM which was comparable to 2 AM for our work schedule.

I think one of the first articles that we wrote was Qysh Me Hape Llogari ne Gmail? (How to create a Gmail account?) and a few hundred articles later the rest was history.

We started and worked on a voluntary basis every day. First, to join our team was Fisnik Sylka, we met via facebook when he messaged us and recommended an optimization that we needed. Shortly he was helping us on a day to day with everything and we all were learning a lot during those times. He grew fascinated with SEO and shortly became our SEO Manager Nowadays he is a well-respected SEO Strategist and works with international clients.

Fisnik introduced us to his friend, our fourth team member Dardan Hasku that joined our team as Social Media Manager. Presently Dardan has his own Social Media Agency called Dardha and it is one of the top agencies in Kosovo.

After more than two years of working on Qysh Me project, we felt ready to incorporate it which is the time when Uranik Begu joined me and Korab as part of the leadership team. This made our side project to a startup in May of 2013 (according to our business certificate).

During the past 9 years, we had many struggles from having too many clicks and our server was failing on us to the DDOS attacks that we didn’t know what was happening to the usual typos and other manageable daily challenges. I have learned a lot and I can’t be more grateful therefore I want to personally thank all the following people for their cooperation and support during the years.

Qysh Me Loves You
Thank you <3

I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for putting your trust in us over the last 9 years and bringing us to where we are today. Thank you!

Technical Support Partners //

All of our authors and especially //

Our friends //

Last but not least I want to thank my family for their support and my wife Eldita <3 for motivating, advising and helping me during all of this. Not to mention those times that I would be in front of the screen looking at google analytics and trying to make sense of the charts.

As an easy how-to and education-focused website in Albanian language we are a rare success story, you know. And we are not close to being done this is a new beginning for all of us. Qysh Me has found such a good home within Dua, where I am sure that Qysh Me will continue to grow and accomplish great things.

Together with Korab and Uranik we will be fully supporting this transition and help Dua’s management because I strongly believe that Qysh Me is able to provide it’s readers even more than we could before.

Sincerest gratitude,
Valon Badivuku (co-founder)
